Aaron Lupuloff has served his community for many years as the senior executive director of the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation (GCPS). The GCPS Foundation focuses on helping students to be the best they can be through scholarships, leadership development, supporting their learning environment, and much more. Lupuloff helped to setup the Norcross High School (NHS) Foundation for Excellence and has served as its treasurer, vice president, and president. The NHS Foundation is in existence to help support the arts, learning, and athletics. Lupuloff came up with the idea for the organization when he realized how much it would be able to assist teachers and students.
Aaron Lupuloff was recently interviewed and asked to talk more about what his typical day looks like. He commented that the GCPS Foundation is always working to help students improve themselves. He works with the foundation on a daily basis to ensure that it is also helping to fund progressive school programs in Gwinnett County. He acknowledged that GCPS would not be able to do as much as it does without financial assistance from the GCPS Foundation, and this has motivated him to continue to work hard to ensure the success of the foundation.
Aaron Lupuloff has also served the Georgia Tech Parents Advisory Board as a board member and founder. He also works with the University of Georgia Student Affairs Advisory Board, as does his wife. Before today, he has worked with Bear Stearns JP Morgan as a senior managing director and has also served with Raymond James as its managing director. Lupuloff has supported many positive organizations including the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Partners Against Domestic Violence, and Camp Twin Lakes.
According to youngupstarts, Aaron Lupuloff is happy that people are starting to understand that focusing on challenging students first is the key to helping everyone. He has learned this through experience, himself, and he also knows that communication is one of the best ways to do so. Lupuloff brings his ideas to life by participating in “whiteboard sessions” with his team. He also pays attention to the input of activists in the community who have many years of experience in the areas he deals with. As an entrepreneur, he has learned that it is important to work with everyone living in his community, whether they are wealthy or not.
Lupuloff attended the University of Alabama, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. If he could talk to a younger version of himself, he would tell himself to be more humble and patient and to look to others for answers sometimes. Lupuloff has always believed that it is important to go towards his dreams and has learned the value of not being afraid of failing. When trying to raise funds, he has discovered that it is a good idea to let people know exactly how the money will be used. This inspires companies, individuals, and foundations to feel like they are more connected with their giving efforts. One of Lupuloff’s favorite quotes is “the time is always right to do what is right,” and this was, of course, spoken by Martin Luther King, Jr. To know more about Aaron visit About.me
