SOG Oleo e Gas and Toyo Engineering Corporation are both Brazilian companies who specialize in very complex construction projects. In 2012, the two companies partnered together to form two new companies called TS Participacoes e Investimentos SA and Estaleiros do Brasil Ltda. This is not the first time they have partnered. It was awarded this prestigious prize after a number of companies gave presentations using AVEVA systems with them “challenges and advances in integration technology. It was around that same time that To Setal started construction work on a Petrobras hydrogen plant in Itaborai. It was estimated that the massive $1.2 billion projects would be completed in mid-2016.
This considered one of the company’s most important projects in recent since it will finally help meet the ever-growing demand for petrochemicals and light oils. This huge complex will feature two refineries with the capability of producing as much as 165,000 barrels a day. It will have a worldwide customer base within the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, mining, steel, fertilizer, infrastructure, and energy industries. TS specializes in servicing in engineering, supplies, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
