Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer is a Brazilian entrepreneur who lives and works in Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil. After completing his secondary education he enrolled at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS). He earned a degree in business administration in 1998. He also has an MBA he acquired in 2002 from Harvard Business School.
He started his career in 2001 in the United States. Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. He also worked at Delphi Corporation in the United States, as a senior financial analyst, and at BoxTop Media where he was the director-general. He returned to Sao Paulo in 2004.
RBS Group is a family-owned firm that was founded by his grandfather in 1957. Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer joined this firm in 2004 as the director-general for the national market. He nearly doubled the amount of revenue Grupo RBS was generating from the Brazilian market. This was mainly due to his ability to expand its advertising business.
RBS Group is an international firm. In 2008, Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer traveled to its London office when he became the vice president of market and business development. He was challenged to double revenue from that country as well which he succeeded at. This effort was rewarded in 2010 when he was named the executive vice president of the London office.
In July 2012, he was named as the president of Grupo RBS. Some of the areas he focused on were sustainable growth, simplicity, quality, meritocracy, and productivity. In January 2016, Eduardo Sirotsky Melzer was named as chairman of the board.

His firm takes minority positions in companies they have identified as having high-growth opportunities matched with large inefficiencies in their operations. They invest in several industries with favorites being healthcare, education, cloud solutions, and financial services. He serves on the board of directors for this firm.
