Since then, Thiel has seen success with such products as Neulasta, a preventive medicine designed to keep those with low white cell counts from getting sick during chemotherapy, Prolia, a treatment for osteoporosis and hypercalcemia, and Vectibix, a chemotherapy drug for treatment of colorectal cancer.
