Privinvest Shipbuilding Group (Privinvest), headquartered in Cherbourg, France, is a multinational organization comprised of five divisions: CMN, German Naval Yards Kiel, Lindenau, Nobiskrug and Isherwoods. Privinvest has leading-edge design and construction facilities located in France,Germany, the United Kingdom, the Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf.

The group of companies has been a pioneer in developing modern missile-armed Fast Attack Craft. Privinvest has been in business for 68 years and has conducted business with 38 navies around the world. This reputation for building very complex and capable front-line warships is now moving to the next level through CMNs Baynunah Corvette programme. Privinvest continues to strive to be at the forefront of naval design and construction in their chosen markets. One example of this is a new design that the CMN division has been working on. It is an adaptation of the trimaran hull designed with the input of world experts on this architecture. Known as the OCEAN EAGLE 43, this ship is designed for surveillance and mission critical maritime response maneuvers.
