Waiakea Water – Refreshing to the Last Drop

Published / by TheRugbyUnion

Our bodies need water – lots of it. Research shows that we need to drink at least 6-9 glasses of water per day. There are many benefits of drinking water – flushing toxins from our bodies to replenishing what’s lost during the day.

If you happen to enjoy water, and you’ve ever drank water from a safe ice-cold mountain spring, then you know that refreshing taste. There’s nothing like it. The water contains the perfect amount of natural healthy minerals our bodies require. And the process through which it was done was simply a natural organic purification.

That same refreshing taste and feeling can be found in Waiakea Water. Just imagine a hike in the woods on a hot day, a heavy workout or a 5k run, and finishing either of these with an ice cold bottle of Waiakea volcanic water.

Volcanic water benefits include a balanced combination of ph and minerals – potassium, magnesium, sodium, calcium and 30 mg of silica. These electrolytes, balanced and combined, provide healing for the body and prolong life.

This water is different from all the others on the market. Hawaii volcanic water is different in that it’s completely processed and purified through the Mauna Loa volcano.

Since its founding date in 2012, it has gained a massive following due to several items of interest.

  • The average Waiakea water ph level is 7.8 -8.8 making this water naturally alkaline. Our bodies function better with this natural level of alkaline.
  • It’s sustainable both in water source and packaging. The water is sourced from the pristine volcano with natural purification providing for distinct mineral components. The packaging process is unique in that it is CarbonNeutral, 100% recycled polyethylene and uses 85% less energy to produce.
  • Waiakea Water partners with Pump Aid to donate 650 liters of water to disadvantaged areas in Africa.

Ryan Emmonds, founder and CEO of Waikea water, grew up in California and Hawaii. While visiting Hawaii, he was always attracted to the natural waters of the Mauna Loa volcano. After tasting the water, he knew it was the best water ever. He realized then that his interest in preserving the environment along with healthy living was something he had to act on.

Several years later in 2012 he created Waiakea bottled water and gave the bottled water industry a run for their money. It has since then won an award for most awarded beverage in North America in 2015. Also in 2017, it was awarded #2 in the 10 Best Water Labels
